Traditional and Freezer Paper Foundation Piecing



Learn 2 methods of foundation paper piecing, traditional and freezer paper in this 3 hour class.  We will be making 6" blocks that will enable you to continue with different blocks to complete a table runner, wall hanging or quilt.
Class includes:

  • Sample foundation paper
  • Sample freezer paper 
  • Ultimate Paper Piecing Reference Guide Book
  • Elmer's Glue
  • Tracing Wheel

Supplies:
  • Add-a-quarter ruler 6 or 12 inch
  • 28mm rotary cutter
  • Wooden iron
  • Small iron, wool mat or pressing mat (2 ironing stations available in the classroom)
  • Fabric scraps of choice to include background pieces at least 8 inches square
  • Neutral Thread for piecing 
  • General sewing supplies: scissors, pins, etc
You may use one of the classroom Bernina machines or bring your own!!

Class Instruction from 900am -1230pm
Optional: Break for lunch (feel free to bring your lunch or go out) and continue sewing until 3:30pm for support while you learn this technique.
