Beginner Quilting: Machine Piecing & Rotary Cutting (5 Weeks)
This 5-week class introduces machine piecing and rotary cutting while guiding you step-by-step through the quilt-making process. You’ll learn helpful tips and techniques to build confidence and set you up for a successful quilting journey. The final class will focus on binding your finished quilt.
Students will make a 52" x 68" lap-size quilt. Homework is required.
Machine Information:
You may use our shop Bernina sewing machines during class, or you are welcome to bring your own machine if you are familiar with its operation. Students will need to apply what they learn to their own machine at home. A ¼" foot is recommended; please check availability for your machine if needed.
Materials:
We encourage all fabric to be purchased from our shop. A 10% discount will be offered on class materials. Stop in to select your fabrics and receive the required fabric list—our staff at The Sampler will be happy to assist you.
